Hoodoo Gurus & You Am I

The Hoodoo Gurus and You Am I have been sharing stages for the last 25 years from New York to Nambucca Heads. They boast nineteen studio albums between them and love playing rock and roll. Get your mates together and relive these great mates' memories.

Brumbies Quarter Final

Friday night football will light up the ACT as the Brumbies take on the Kiwis. Will the home ground advantage and stellar team line-up secure the Brumbies victory? Be at the game to find out.

Raiders v Storm

The Raiders' thrilling victory over the Storm at GIO Stadium last season was a highlight for many Raiders fans. This week’s match-up has all the hallmarks of being another blockbuster encounter.

1984

Set in a world where an invasive government keeps a malevolently watchful eye on its citizens, this radical and much-lauded staging explores surveillance, identity and why Orwell’s vision of the future is as relevant now as ever. This show has toured around the world and been enjoyed by over a quarter of a million people.

Held Tuesday 25 July to Saturday 29 July at the Canberra Theatre Centre at various times.

Night Ski & Ride

There is something thoroughly thrilling about skiing beneath the stars in the picturesque Tidbinbilla Mountain Ranges. Test your snow skills before warming up in front of an open fireplace and roasting giant, well-deserved marshmallows. Each night there is a different theme – try to master a new trick on Wednesday Park Night, take your fav girl for free on Girls Night, or indulge in a $10 woodfire pizza on Friday Family Pizza Night.

Held each Wednesday to Saturday from Wednesday 12 July to Saturday 2 September at Corin Forest from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.

AfterDARK Firefly Lantern Tour

Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the Australian National Botanic Gardens' native Australian flora by night.Start the evening with a delicious hot chocolate before trying your hand at lantern making.Your tour leader will then take you on a fascinating after dark discovery of the Gardens using your 'firefly lantern light' to help guide the way.

Held Saturday 1 July to Saturday 12 August at the Australian National Botanic Gardens from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Warm Trees at the National Arboretum

The Arboretum has been transformed by woollen warmth and colourful creations. Enjoy a winter walk through this knit and crochet installation, join in a free 'knit in', try your hand at crocheting or attend the Origami workshops for children during the school holidays.

Held from Saturday 1 July to Sunday 30 July at the National Arboretum Canberra from 9am to 4pm daily.

Australian Bridge National Championships

The country's best bridge players are descending on the nation's capital.
