Family and Community Fun Day
‘Spend your day off having fun with family and friends.'
Thousands of Canberrans watched the action of the 2009 Melbourne Cup on the Big Screen in Glebe Park at Family and Community Fun Day.
Local cover band Smooth Operators entertained the crowd between races from the new Glebe Park Stage.
Children enjoyed free amusements including jumping castles, face painting, plaster painting and balloon modelling.
This event was proudly presented by the ACT Government and sponsored by UnionsACT and Mix106.3.
