Civic Square will come alive with the official Lighting of the Canberra Christmas Tree on Friday 4 December.
Joining us in 2009 is the talented Monica Trapaga, best known as a presenter on ABC's Play School, who will perform a special Christmas Show. Michael Martin, Canberra born Australian tenor will also be a highlight of the program this year and we hope to have a special visit from Santa Claus himself!
Enjoy late night shopping in the City, and then come down with a picnic with your family and friends and enjoy the start of the Festive season in our national capital.
