IMB Bank Sunset Cinema

Gather your friends and family, sit back, relax and watch the stars at your new summer local. Open multiple nights each week in November and December at the Australian National Botanic Gardens, the season is packed with new release blockbusters, quirky comedies, award-winning features and cult classic – perfect for a date night, girls’ night out or some family fun.

Held regularly from Thursday 16 November to Saturday 23 December.

Korea Day

Immerse yourself in Korean culture as the Embassy of the Republic of Korea opens its doors. Enjoy exquisite Korean food, be amazed by ancient arts and traditional performances.

Held Saturday 18 November at the Korean Embassy from 10:30am to 4:00pm.

Ainslie and Gorman Open Day

With a wealth of creative energy springing from every space, there’s something for everyone with performances, workshops, tours and exhibitions across the day. Explore the worlds of youth dancers and performers, photographers and painters, luthiers and music engineers, classical virtuosos and multi-arts innovators.

Held Saturday 18 November at Gorman Arts Centre from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Women’s Ashes Series

Don’t miss seeing the stars of the Women's Big Bash League battle it out when Australia take on England in the 2nd and 3rd T20 International clashes of the Commonwealth Bank Women’s Ashes Series.

The second match will be held on Sunday 19 November at Manuka Oval from 2:35pm. The third match will be held on Tuesday 21 November at Manuka Oval from 7:10pm.

DESIGN Canberra

Throughout November over 100 events, exhibitions, talks, tours, activations, markets, collaborations, artist studios and open homes will be showcased as DESIGN Canberra. See the nation's capital transformed into a new platform for the best in design. 

Held Tuesday 7 November through to Sunday 26 November at various venues.

SpringOUT Pride Festival

Canberra SpringOUT Pride Festival is the official pride festival of Canberra and the Australian Capital Territory. Join us for four weeks of fabulous events coordinated by the local community!

Held 28 October to 26 November at various locations in Canberra.
