Orb by the Sydney Dance Company

Be captivated by Orb, an extraordinary lunar mystery. This striking piece intertwines mythology, fable, and the poetry of mankind to thrill the audience.

Held Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 May at the Canberra Theatre Centre. Times vary.

National Capital Rally

Drivers will be pushed to the limit, tackling some of the best roads Australia has to offer. Get up close to international motor sport stars and feel the adrenaline of this fast passed rally.

It all kicks off on Friday afternoon with a ceremonial meet and greet of the teams at Hotel Realm, before heading out to the forest for a weekend of sport. Spectating is free throughout the weekend with plenty of activities for little and big kids alike across the spectator points.

Held Friday 26 May to Sunday 28 May at Stromlo Forest Park. Times vary.

Makers & Shakers Market

This market brings together people who care about where things come from, how things are made and what they are made of. Full of everything from furniture to jewellery through to delicious delights, you can pick up some wonderful new treasures at this market.

Held Saturday 27 May at Albert Hall from 10am to 5pm.

Sammy J’s Hero Complex

An unbelievably true story, which follows Sammy J as he navigates life’s twists and turns. It starts with a youngster borrowing some Phantom comics and ends with a federal policeman searching his attic.

Held Saturday 27 May at the Canberra Theatre Centre from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

Australian National Botanic Gardens Open Day

Celebrate nature with unique experiences in a beautiful setting.  Soak up some sunlight as you enjoy a yoga session, relax with a massage, take a behind-the-scenes tour, or unleash your creativity with craft activities.

Held Sunday 28 May at the Australian National Botanic Gardens from 10am to 2pm.

The Truffle Festival
